The past Wednesday 16 October, Patricio was invited to join Javier Ibacache in the Chilean radio show "Tomar Palco" to discuss the return of the National Theatre Live programming to Nescafé de las Artes in Santiago de Chile.
Before Covid-19 lockdown, Nescafé was the venue in the city to programme yearly screenings of National Theatre Live, and had to stop during the pandemic.
Patricio spoke from his work as Senior Editor in the Digital department on the venue and his responsibilities around the edit and post-production of content for diversity of outputs including full shows for NT Live and NT at Home.
November 6 will mark the return of these screenings with Jodie Comer in Prima Facie, continued by Vanya with Andrew Scott in January and 5 other titles programmed the following months of 2025.
They also discussed how these initiatives contribute to access new audiences and a reach that theatre haven´t thought it could have before, talking into account that National Theatre Live premiered in 2009. They also discussed the arrival of Spanish subtitles for the streaming platform National Theatre at home.
